An interest group, Coalition for Good Governance (CGG) says it will adopt only qualified and capable candidates for election into various elective positions, ahead of the 2023 general elections. National Chairman of the coalition, Mr Okey Chikwendu, stated this at a news conference on Wednesday in Abuja. He stressed the need to engage in massive grassroots political and civil mobilisation and enlightenment to ensure emergence of credible candidates. Chikwendu said that the coalition would ensure that such candidates were elected in 2023 to run the affairs of the country. He said that the group would provide the requisite platforms for all elected candidates to market themselves to the electorate, ahead of the elections.
