 Breaking News :Ahead of 2019 Polls: H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga DA Nat. Chairman, Prof. Nnaji of BNPP, Dr. Tanko Yinusa of NCP  Storms Konrad Adenauer's Seminar on –Electoral Offences: Buying and Selling of Votes and Voter’s Card.
The Konrad Adenauer Foundation recently held a well attended Seminar on the sensitization of Nigerians on the dangers of electoral Offenses with focus on the topic of Buying and Selling of Votes and Voter’s Cards which endangers the growth of genuine democratic dispensation in any polity.
The Seminar was held at the prestigious Fraser Suites in Abuja and anchored by the Country Representative of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung {KAS} Mrs. .Hildergerard Behrendt –Kigozi and Mr. Samson Adeniran of KAS Nigeria. It was attended by many stalwarts of the Nigerian political terrain among whom includes the National Chairman of DPC Rev Olusegun Peters, H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga the National Chairman DA- Democratic Alternative, Dr. Tanko Yinusa of NCP, Prof. Nnaji of BNPP, Barrister Ken Udeze of Action Alliance, Chief Pert Ahme of PPA, and many others.  INEC, NOA, Civil Defense Corps, and the media were well represented.

The Resource Persons were Dr. Tunji Ogunyemi of the Department of History –Obafemi  Awolowo University who espoused extensively on the topic of “Reduction of Electoral Offenses’ Through Prosecution and voters’ Education”, Mr. Jide Ojo the Chief Executive of OJA Development Consult presented a paper on the “Role of INEC and Political Parties” in curbing and managing electoral Offenses’ with focus on the trading of Voters Cards and Votes and Mr. Leo Suarez, a retired Security Officer presented a paper on the field experience titled “Experience from the field and practical suggestions on how to stop buying and selling of Voters’ Cards ad Votes”
In his remark H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga  the National Chairman of DA-Democratic Alternative Party who was one of the Panelists in the Seminar espoused on the virtues of Konrad Adenauer, who was born in 1876 and became the first chancellor of post world war II Germany-The Federal Republic of Germany and ruled for 14 years. One of the founders of the EEC now European Union and Konrad Adenauer is the father of Modern Germany and one of the greatest German leader  of all times. H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga commended the Konrad Adenauer foundation for their contributions to the development of genuine democratic dispensation in Nigeria and the African continent. Prince Frank Ukonga also called on emerging democracies of the world including Nigeria to adopt the German Model of PR-Proportional Representation in Parliament which provides that any party that scores a certain agreed percentage of votes would be elected to the parliament so it would curb the anxiety of winner takes all syndrome which is the causality of the desperations of winning elections at all cost and by whatever means possible that endangers the growth and sustainability of vibrant democratic dispensation in contemporary emerging democracies..
