Stop Press: Infra structural Development: DA urges FG to
focus on Highways etc- this would impact
positively on the GDP-
“We at DA-Democratic Alternative- subscribe to a National
dual carriage Highway network of six lanes from the West- Lagos to Abuja and
From Abuja to Kano to Maiduguri and even up to Niamey- which would cut across
many states while the South South/ South Eastern Highways would connect to it
in the Mid West others from North Central, North West and North East would
connect at appropriate points addressed to link the entire country in a post
modern National Highway network that would be a great pride to all and sundry…this
would invigorate enterprise, trade and industries that would improve the GNP of
the polity to more than double…”
“Otherwise we urge the FG to do more on infrastructural
development in particular improving on the present deplorable conditions of our
roads through pro active maintenance culture, resurfacing etal.. Addressed to
curb loss of life in motor accidents and improve trade and entrepreneurship”
The Amiable Prince concluded while speaking to Journalists at the recent NIPSS
Retreat for Chairmen of Political Parties in Abuja.
