Democracy Day  Message from H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga –National Chairman of DA-Democratic Alternative to all the citizens of Nigeria.
This day May 29th 2018 is the 19th anniversary celebrations of the transition from Military rule in 1999 to democratic governance of the Nigerian Federation and we commend all stakeholders and the peoples of Nigeria for being able to sustain this dispensation despite the truculence and challenges of the past 19 years. It is pertinent to say that we indeed have something to celebrate as Nigerians have achieved this milestone despite critiques and purveyors of doom predicting that Nigeria would break up, we remained united as one Nation with one destiny and pushed forward as the giant of Africa economically, industrially and otherwise. We commend all stakeholders and citizens of the polity for these remarkable giant strides.
Furthermore we admonish all stakeholders and citizens of the polity to rededicate themselves to building genuine, sustainable democratic dispensation, peace, love, unity, economic and industrial prosperities which are the greatest legacies we can bequeath the future generations of Nigerians and the African continent.
We call on all Nigerians to embrace the progressive policy thrust of Democratic Alternative Party crested on the Marshal template of Industrial, economic and agricultural revolution addressed to create over 20 million direct jobs and over 30 million jobs in the downstream sectors of the economy, targeting a GNP of over 2,5 Trillion dollars by 2024, to generate over 50, 000 MW Electricity and jump state the Nigerian industrial, economic and agric revolution, to generate liquid steel . The game plan is to position the Nigerian sovereignty among the top ten economic giants of the World by 2024 if voted to power.
This inadvertently would translate to giving the dividends of democracy to all and sundry in the polity on the followings promissory notes: , Free Education at all levels, jobs for all healthcare for all, food for all as we are determined to cure poverty, hunger and want through our ingenious policy thrust of Economic, Industrial and Agric Revolution, Accelerated quality infrastructural development, support for youth, women and the vulnerable, proactive security initiative, proactive foreign policy thrust of diplomatic and economic reciprocities and much more. We call on all Nigerians to join and vote for DA in elections. We promise not to let you down but to set forth at dawn. Gratitude.
