Breaking News: Edo state Assembly Impasse & Constitutional breach: H.E. Prince Frank Ukonga -DA Presidential candidate 2019 election appeal to Senator Matthew Urhoghide[ Edo South] and Senator Clifford Odia [Edo Central] to impress it on their colleagues Senators to do the needful.
In our very eyes H.E. Godwin Obaseki the governor of Edo state and Philip Saibu the Deputy Governor muscled the elected Edo state Assembly members swearing in 9 members out of 24 some still wearing their boxers during the kangaroo swearing in ceremony.
Edo state is described as mini Nigeria as it host virtually all tribes and ethnic groups. To allow this illegality to go unchecked is dangerous to the fortunes of Democracy in Nigeria and Sub Saharan Africa,
We therefore call on Senator Matthew Urhoghide and Senator Clifford Odia both representing Edo state in the 9th Republic Senate to impress it on their colleagues to do the needful.
