Breaking: Obey Court Order- Nigerians Tell INEC to Reinstate DA-Democratic Alternative Party & Others

Breaking: Obey Court Order- Nigerians Tell INEC to Reinstate DA-Democratic Alternative Party & Others Victory for Democracy and the Rule of Law as the Federal High Court Abuja of Justice Obiora Egwuatu on the Judgement of 9th of December 2021 has Ordered INEC to Reinstate DA-Democratic Alternative Party, MAJA-Mass Action Joint Alliance and RP-Restoration Party and to allow them the full recognitions as legally and constitutionally registered political parties and to allow these parties to be on ballot in all elections of the Nigerian federation. This was the outcome of the suit filed by these political parties asking to benefit from the Appeal Court Judgment of Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem -President Court of Appeal Ordering INEC to relist ACD and 21 Others in a historic judgment based on the adamantine doctrines of Stare Decisis of 5 appeal court Judges, which in other Jurisprudence is the final word on matters of elections or public interest. Which is the consensus judgment binding on the entire Nigerian Judiciary? The Victory of DA-Democratic Alternative and 2 others defeating INEC in the Federal High Court is a great victory for the Rule of Law and the peoples of Nigeria, and would go a long way to entrench and consolidate sustainable multi party democracy in Nigeria, Sub Saharan Africa, the African continent and all emerging Democracies’ of the world. As no Democratic Sovereignty or Democratic Country of the World had ever de-Registered any registered political party for the past 1000-one thousand years of democratic history of the world, so where INEC and the National Assembly derived the precedents to delist bonafide registered political parties which are constitutional “Shadow Government: and Constitutional Development Centers” that should be empowered to do more; is still a misery and an exercise done in prejudice, self seeking and obnoxious in faith. In the contest of proliferation of parties it is observed that this argument also cannot stand as reason to delist political parties as Nigeria with only 91 political parties to a population of 200 million peoples-has the lowest number of parties in Africa and the entire world as in South Africa has 450 political parties to a population of 42 million peoples and had never deregistered any till today. India has over 12,700-Twelve thousand seven hundred registered political parties to a population of 800 million people, just about 3 times the population of Nigeria. Nigeria has only 91 political parties to a population of 200 million peoples, Senegal has 300 political parties, Togo, Benin, and all countries of west Africa has more than 200 political parties each to population of less than Lagos state of 20 million peoples, England has over 650 registered political parties to a population of about 60 million peoples, France has over 89 political parties to a population of 60 million peoples, Germany has over 87 registered political parties to a population of 85 million peoples, Russia has 78 political parties to a population of 135 million peoples, USA has over 2500 political parties to a population of 300 million peoples, same for Canada, Brazil, Argentina and the entire Latin American countries. No country of Democracy has ever deregistered registered political parties in the entire world because it contradicts the fundamental grand norms of the constitution, it contradicts the doctrine of Magna Charter, it contradicts the United Nations Charter, it contradicts the ECOWAS Charter, It contradicts the Africa Charter. It is abnormal, it is ungodly, it is an aberrations. His Excellency Prince Frank Ukonga the National Chairman of DA-Democratic Alternative Party said " We Appeal to INEC Chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu to obey court order and do the needful", adding that "We did not defeat INEC in Court but rather it is victory for all Nigerians and the sustainability of vibrant multi party Democratic dispensation in Nigeria, Sub Saharan Africa, the African Continent and the world in Generality. Gratitude"
